I work for a large hospital system that needs to have the right supplies. Supply chain efficiency can be maximized in my organization by adapting to new market trends for instance, when the United States was affected by the covid 19 virus, my employer implemented new ways to have employees stay employed while meeting the patients' needs. Many were switched to remote work and extra precautions were put in place for the clinical employees to manage the high volume of sick patients. The supply and demand of PPE and medications had to be in abundance to take care of the public. One of the weaknesses of my organization is a breach that they met. It's a concern for patients to keep their PHI safe. Cybersecurity breaches on health care organizations and patients usually involve the theft of personal health information, personal identity information as well as ransomware and the potential to hack and control medical devices. While other threats to operations, such as storms, can be foreseen days ahead of time, cyber attacks are sudden, at once disruptive, may be massive in scope and often are the work of organized groups with malevolent intent. They may lay dormant in systems
