Problem BauLog Trucking Co. has 3 identical trucks. Ecach truck has a capacity of 20 m3, and could carry at the maximum weight of 15 tons. The marketing department gets reguest for 20 load orders, where the volume, weight and the corresponding revenue expected from each are given in the table below. As the company's operations manager choose the best loads (orders) such that you will not exceed the limits of each truck and obtain the highest revenue.
Assume that the shapes of packages are uniform, so that volume is the constraint not individual dimensions of packages. Therefore as long as sum of the volumes of a number of packages is less than 30 m3, then it will fit into the truck.
