IBM Watson was the name of a large computing system that made headlines around the world : decade ago for its ability to compete on the game show Jeopardy. IBM has steadily expanded its portfolio of artificial intelligence (AI) services that run as a service on both the IBM cloud and public cloud platforms from Google, Microsoft, and Amazon over the last several years. IBM Watson-powered AI services are also available via an application programming interface (API). which allows developers to use AI capabilities within applications remotely.
