In your online activities, it is crucial to understand the ethical concerns that can arise. Today's activity is designed to help you consider ethical concerns to protect both your reputation and the security of your data. In this algorithmic era, all $($or most$)$ of your online data and selection practices reveal patterns of your own behaviour. These patterns are both traceable by the unscrupulous and $-$ conversely $-$ recognizable by others who are trustworthy and interested in your posts. A code of online ethics can help you to not only protect your reputation but also to help you to set practical limits for what you and others post about you.

For today's activity, the questionnaire below asks you to consider how an ethical code of online practices can assist your on$-$going maintenance for data security and for having some measure of control over your online presence as a form of impression management. Take turns with your partner to read each item aloud and brainstor possible considerations.
