Beginners need to learn the fundamental essence of coding before learning IDE's, if not you are having to learn two things at the same time. By using text editors first, you can manually craft your code. you will understand what every semicolon, brace, and variable means. Text editor's nurture the understanding, ensuring you grasp the intricacies of the code you write. Starting with a text editor provides a clear path, allowing you to concentrate solely on the magic of coding symbols.

It is my opinion, that starting with IDEs before text editors would be like starting with Algebra before basic math.
