If I declare function prototypes in header.c, do I need to define the functions in every source file that wants to use them??

For example, I have 3 files: node.h tree.c and main.c

All functions are declared in node.h. I then define the functions in tree.c. Do i have to define them again in main.c to be able to use it the same as tree.c?
