If one party has completed its obligations under the contract, and the other has not:

a) The contract can be terminated by mutual agreement b) The contract cannot be terminated by simple agreement without consideration c) The contract can be terminated if it is put down in writing; no further consideration is required d) The contract can be terminated where one party promises to abandon their rights under the contract and the other party promises to do the same
