Please ANSWER question 2 to 4 based on the following scenario. Scenario ABC Corporation plans to redesign its organisational structure from functional to divisional. The company currently has operations in Malaysia, Africa, Singapore, Spain, and Indonesia. Under the new structure, each geographical area is a division by itself. The highest echelon in each division is Division Officer (DO hereafter) and they will report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO hereafter) based in Kuala Lumpur. As announced in a press conference, the CEO mentioned that all the division officers will be given control over how to spend their budget. The only requirement is they must meet the predetermined business target. When asked about the candidates to lead the divisions, the CEO mentioned that the existing manager and assistant managers of the marketing department in Malaysia are all qualified candidates for the position. Mabel, the manager of human resource management in Kuala Lumpur, has been appointed as the change officer overseeing the transition project. To begin with, Mabel has prepared the job description, key performance indicators and the relocation remunerations for the position of DO after consulting the CEO. The duration of the appointment as a DO is three years. During the appointed period, the DO will receive a 50 percent increase in basic salary. In addition, the DO enjoys the benefit of a company car. Next, Mabel plans to call a meeting with the four DOs to brief them of their job scopes and the remuneration plan. In one of the coffee chats with you, she mentioned, "I am glad the process finally comes to an end. After the meeting, i can put this project behind and get back to my life."
