Insitu treatment of road bed to be compacted to 93% MOD AASHTO

Sub-base

200mm G5 material with P.I<10 compacted to 95% MOD AASHTO

Base

150mm G4 material compacted to 98% MOD AASHTO

Surfacing

Prime coat of MC 30 flow bitumen surfacing @ 0.90 l/m2

30mm continuously graded asphalt with compacted density of 2 350kg/m3

Kerb and channel

Precast concrete kerbstones and channels including concrete bedding and backing as per SABS 1200 MK. To be installed on both sides of the roads.
