I'm taking a project management course, and the assignment reads:

Select a new project for your organization (New product or service, internal system or platform upgrade, etc.). In a paper, provide a comprehensive description of the project to include the following:

• Project Objectives
• Stakeholders
• Anticipated Resources Needed
• Anticipated Project Risks
• Anticipated Timeline and Life Cycle
• Anticipated Outcome and Returns

Support your paper with a minimum of five (5) scholarly resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including older articles, may be included.

Your paper should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts that are presented in the course and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards.

I understand the assignment, but I have no idea how to incorporate scholarly sources into the paper. This seems more descriptive rather than research-oriented. Any guidance is appreciated!
