Leapfrogging methods. Although Newton$-$type and successive quadratic techniques work well

on the deterministic continuum model, the discontinuities of risk, pump cost with high pressure,

and discretization of pipe diameter are problems for them. I like the direct search approaches. Further,

for the stochastic NPV$90,$ LF with replicates and the steady$-$state convergence is my choice.
