If possible, select a company where you may know someone who can answer questions about the company and it's training needs. You may want to select a company you worked for in the past or where you currently work. If this is not possible, you may prefer to select a company we have discussed in this course, or a company you admire and would like to work for in the future. Its completely up to you! Once you select a company, please complete the steps below.

Step 1: Review the companys website( Sava Senior Care) and any credible sources to learn more about the company A) Identify and explain the companys vision, mission, and values B) Explain how training might help the company reach its goals and objectives

Step 2: Perform a Needs Assessment In corporate learning and development, this step would typically be completed by speaking to various stakeholders (managers, front line employees, etc.) in the company you have selected. If you have selected a company where you know someone (or several people) who can give you insight into the company and it's training needs, that is great! However, for our Learning Objective, you may use the information from your research about the company online and make assumptions about the needs of the organization. Remember the three steps in the Needs Assessment process from Chapter 3 in our text: organizational analysis, person analysis, and task analysis. A) Create a List of Questions Using information learned from your textbook or other credible sources, create a list of 8-10 questions you would use when speaking to these stakeholders. These are questions intended to help you uncover gaps in performance or areas where training is needed. These should not be yes/any questions, but open-ended questions that will help you gather as much information as possible. Be sure to document any sources using MLA format. The goal is to determine what type of training might be most useful to the organization. B) Explain Why You are Asking For each question you have listed, explain why you have chosen to ask this question. What information are you hoping to obtain? C) Answer the Questions Based on the information you have found about the company either by speaking to various team members or by what you have learned online, how do you think these questions might be answered? Be sure to document your sources if needed.

Step 3: Summarize Your Findings Create a summary of your findings on the training needs of the company you have selected, as well as suggestions for a potential training and development program to meet one or more of those needs. This summary can be brief, but should be written in a way that could be presented to the organization. Think of yourself as a Training and Development consultant presenting a proposal for training to the company.
