In $2012,$ Hostess had to close all of its factories and liquidate the company. There were several reasons for this, including poor management and a change in the American diet to include less junk food. But the last straw was a strike by the Bakers$$ Union. Even when told that the company would have to close if they chose to strike, the union did it anyway. Around $18,500$ employees lost their jobs.
