Soon after the incident had happened, a spokesperson from Apple quickly came out and issued the following public statement: “We believe in equality for everyone, regardless of race, age, gender, gender identity, ethnicity, religion or sexual orientation. That applies throughout our company, around the world with no exceptions.” After the issuance of the statement and an apology, it gathered quite positive responses from the general public and therefore quickly marked the ending of this incident.
