In a new artisanal manufacturing process for a certain article that is being implemented, it has been considered interesting to periodically record the average time (measured in minutes) that is used to make a part (variable Y) and the number of days since said manufacturing process began. manufacturing (variable X). With this, the aim is to analyze how operators are adapting to the new process, gradually improving their production rate as they gain more experience in it. From the collected figures, which appear in the attached table, it is decided to adjust an exponential function that explains the manufacturing time as a function of the number of days that it has been working with this method.
