Program 1: Tailor's Aid
During the mid 1800's, uniforms were mass produced by determining arm, neck, hat, and shoe sizes based on waistline and weight. Write a program that prompts the user for a weight in pounds and a waistline in inches and computes these four sizes using these two inputs. The sizes are based on the following formulas:
Neck Size
- Divide the customer's weight by their waistline .
- Multiply this result by 3.
Hat Size
- Divide the customer's neck size by 2.125.
Shoe Size
- Divide the customer's waistline by their weight. Don't confuse this with step 1 of neck size.
- Multiply this result by 50.0.
Arm Length
- Divide the customer's waistline by 2.0.
Your grade will be computed as follows:
- (10 points) The User will enter the waistline and weight. Store the inches as an integer and the weight as a float.
- (10 points) Store the result of each size in floats.
- (20 points) Create formulas for each of the measurements. .
- (10 points) The output will be each computed size formatted with two decimal places.
- (10 points) Display each size in the size column right justified.
- (5 points) Display each item in the article column left justified.
- (25 points) The output will be displayed as a chart. Be sure to center the label for each column. For example, if a male has a 36 inch waistline and weighs 200 pounds, then his chart will look like this: Article Size ----------- ------------- Neck 16.66 Hat 7.84 Shoe 9.00 Arm Length 18.00
- (10 points) Test the program with several scenarios before submitting.
NOTE: 1. Declare all variables within the data declaration section. (-5) 2 Do not get input on the same line as a variable declaration. (-5) 3. Do not place an equation for computation on the same line as declaring a variable.
