In California, a community property state, if a registered domestic partner dies intestate, and the home the couple was living in was the separate property of the decedent, also the decedent has issues (no parents, but a brother and sister), how will the home be divided among partner, brother, and sister?

Also, community property funds paid down the mortgage on the home while the couple was together. Will the partner be reimbursed?
