Consider the changes that have occurred in 2020 with many workplaces were closed due to COVID-19. Many employees were told to work from home. It is not likely that all employees have company issues laptops and smartphones. How do you deal with employees using their own devices? Recommend a remote access control policy using appropriate access controls for systems, applications, and data access. Include your justifications for using the selected access control.

Your policy should include the following points:

• Methods that can be used to connect remotely, such as a virtual private network (VPN)
• Identify what data needs to be protected
• Requirements for user systems before they are allowed to connect
• Terms of use associated with remotely connecting to the network
• Policy enforcement
