Lab 1: Introduction to Computers, Programs, and Java Hello World Purpose Ensure you have the JDK and JRE installed successfully Learn how to write a basic Java program Learn how to compile and run Java programs Description of Task We will be developing a simple program, compiling it, and then running it using command line tools. The program should introduce yourself to the person that runs it. The program should output the following pieces of information: A greeting Your name Your hometown Your favorite food What got you interested in CS and Programming A goodbye After writing the program, compile the program with the javac program from the JDK. Then, run the program with the java program from the JRE. Example Script Output: C:\hello_world> java Introduction Ahoy there! My name is Brian. I'm from (near) beautiful Cleves Ohio.
