In our last module, we conclude by reflecting on truth and reconciliation. Ryan Moran states, "there is great diversity among Indigenous perspectives. One fact remains central  the traditional lands, practices, values, cultures, languages, systems and understandings of Indigenous Peoples have been systematically attacked, dismantled and destroyed at the hands of the Canadian state." You are learning to be a chef, a bridge person who can tell the story of food. Our chefs have shared their many food stories entwined with culture, beliefs, traditions and values, connecting individuals, families, communities, and nations with a sense of strength, courage, humility, and pride for the past, present and future.
