In project management software (PMS) applications you can use to help manage a project efficiently. You have also been exploring some of these tools and applications. In this activity, you will identify one PMS tool that you think can be used to track and monitor the XYZ Business Workflow project efficiently.

Example: If you choose a career in project management, tool evaluations are not just something you will see in class. It is something you will often have to revisit as the market continues to evolve and new business challenges need to be solved.I have created several PPM tool evaluation proposals over my career and presented it to a senior leadership team for investment because it often required money, or we had to make concessions on what functionality would be available.In the course, we have been talking about a few criteria to investigate for your tool choice (such as it's gantt chart capability) but take a look at thiscriteria listthat has hundreds of considerations.

I am showing you these criteria to help you understand how important the PPM tool choice is to PMOs and project managers.I can't wait to hear what you share during the discussion based on your own experiences and research.

• Choose one tool and describe its features and available options. Include a short description of the tool and its features and provide a link, if possible. What do you think are its pros and cons?
• If you are currently using the tool or have used the tool in the past, discuss your experience. If the tool is new to you, describe how the tool could be useful in managing projects.
• List one or two other tools you tried and did not choose for this project. Why did you decide not to use this tool?
