It's really important for organizations to think about their goals and mission statements when making budget and plans. This helps ensure that money is spent on things that support the organization's main purpose. When budgets match the mission, everyone can focus on what matters most, making work feel more meaningful.

My organization is Duke University Health System. Their mission statement is "Advancing Health Together" $($Mission$,$ Vision, & Values, $2024)$ They want to provide expert, patient$-$centered care with compassion and respect, to advanced health through research and education, and to improve the health of their communities. This shows they are dedicated to providing good patient care, doing research, and helping the community.$$

DUHS has goals like improving patient care, supporting medical training, and promoting health for everyone. These goals help fulfill their mission by making sure care is based on the latest research and is available to all. My project aligns with these goals such as improving service, using new technology, or helping the community. This connection ensures my work supports the organizations mission.

Organizational goals has many benefits. It keeps everyone focused and working together, which leads to better performance and happier patients. If these goals are ignored, it can cause confusion, waste resources, and make it harder for teams to cooperate. Projects that don't fit with the mission can lead to misunderstandings and weaken the organization's identity.$$
