In SAS $($b$)$ Data Cleaning

i$.$ Identify and print the duplicate records in the demographics data set. Based on the data in the CATIS data file, make an educated guess as to which of the duplicate records is likely correct and eliminate the other$($s$)$ in the demographics data set. Use this dataset for the rest of this question.

ii$.$ Review the $13$ items in the CATIS and remove any outlier values based on the data dictionary $($do not delete any records just remove the value for that variable$).$

$($c$)$ Calculations

i$.$ Generate and label the summary score for the CATIS data collection instrument based on the following criteria:

$1.$ At least $8$ of the $13$ items must be non$-$missing in order to calculate the score.

$2.$ The following $11$ variables must be re$-$coded by subtracting the value of the variable from $6$: fault, fromlike, feelsick, feeldiff, feelbad, sadsick, startnew, youhave, fair, sadhappy, tohave

a$.$ For example, the value of fault should be recoded to be $=6$ fault.

$3.$ The summary score is the mean of all $13$ items. Label this summary score.

a$.($For your information only$)$ A higher score indicates a more positive feeling about the seizure condition.

ii$.$ Calculate the child$$s age, rounded to two decimal places, at the time of each administration of the CATIS. Label this variable.

$($d$)$ Create a permanent dataset that includes all the data manipulations from $($b$)$ and $($c$)$ and submit to Canvas.

$($e$)$ Send the below results to a PDF file using ODS. Submit this PDF to Canvas.

i$.$ For the CATIS summary score and the child$$s age, generate the number of observations, means, standard deviations, minimums, maximums, medians, and interquartile ranges for the M$18$ visits. Report these statistics overall and broken down by sex.

ii$.$ Produce a vertical bar chart showing a frequency distribution of site. Within each bar, show the distribution of sex.
