In Six Sigma projects are typically "team" projects; however, for this assignment you will be creating the Charter Individually. Upload the Charter before the required due date. Be sure to go to read the CEO's letter before you do the Charter.

CEO's Letter:

From: Stan Marley, CEO

Subj: APPOINTMENT TO WORK INJURY SIX SIGMA TEAM

Congratulations! You have been recommended by your supervisor to be a member of the Six Sigma team looking at the increase in work injuries over the past several weeks. As you know, our ultimate goal is to have zero injuries, but we realize that is not realistic. As such, we have a goal of having not more than 1 percent of our employees out of work at any time due to a work related injury. That number continues to climb and I would like to have you come up with process improvements to bring our number of injuries back into alignment.

This project means a lot to me and I will serve as the champion for this event. However, Alan Thompson will be the Six Sigma Black Belt that will ensure the success of this project. Please use him to answer any questions that you may have.

I would like to see a team charter within one week and want the project to be complete within six months.
