In the dining philosophers problem, a philosopher needs to acquire the two chopsticks $($resources$)$ next to himself$/$herself in order to eat. The chopsticks are located as in the figure, and let us suppose for philosopher i$,$ the chopstick to his$/$her left is chopstick i$,$ and the chopstick to his$/$her right is chopstick $($i$+1)\%5,$ assuming there are $5$ philosophers. Someone has implemented a solution to this problem using semaphore variables.
