In the implementation process a steering committee must be developed to manage IT functions. The stakeholders involved in the process should include the providers, clinical staff, information technology management team, and the operations management team. There are 3 phases when implementing the new application software by phase 1: create a climate for change, phase 2: engage and enable the organization, and phase 3: implement and sustain the change (Wager, et al., 2022).
