In the What Do Workers Want exercise that was discussed during Dr$.$ Cogliser's lecture, we learned that the way workers felt was different from the way that managers believed workers felt. How can organizations reduce the discrepancy between how managers think their employees believe and what the workers actually believe?

Make sure policies and procedures are followed carefully.

Conduct surveys with employees on a regular basis.

Provide incentives for higher performance.

Improve the conditions under which people work.

Train workers regularly.
