I have a very strong hobby of keeping myself fit. I exercise daily and look to try different workout regimes. It helps me build a positive state of mind which actually translates into higher productivity. I have tried many different health workouts and it helps me to remain energetic throughout the day.

Can you explain me your understanding of a workday in the life of a Senior Manager Operations

I would view a workday of a Senior Manager Operations as being diverse, which will have some planned deliverable and business as usual activities. It will also includes certain team management activities and also certain team related meetings which might be related to certain status reporting etc. I would also have certain stakeholder management functions which are necessary to ensure smooth delivery and also meet the desired expectations. Overall I look at the workday activities grouped in four basic functions such as planning, delivery, control and monitoring.

Answer - I have worked as an Associate Manager in my last assignment for two years where I was not just leading a team and meeting the delivery metrics but also leading the innovation function. As an Associate manager I was able to introduce certain process improvement initiatives that helped us reduce certain wastes in the cycle time and also improve the security aspects. Prior to that I was working in the operations space in a team as a lead where I was delivering time boxed deliverable and was tracking quality and maintaining a team with a target to reduce attrition.
