In this assignment, you will apply the DISC model to your work unit and develop a plan to improve your communication within your work unit.

1. Take DISC Survey. LINK TO TAKE DISC SURVEY
2. Record your natural DISC scores on the template.
3. Identify five people in your work unit or outside the work unit that you interact with on a regular basis. You should include your immediate supervisor, your peers in your work unit, and anyone outside your work unit with whom you communicate on a regular basis, including people outside your company.
4. For each of the people identified above, identify their dominant DISC style. The handout, "Managing DISC Styles," has lists of clues you can use to help you determine this. Be sure to explain the basis of your decision regarding each persons dominant DISC style.
5. For each person identified above, explain the communication issue you face and describe three things you can do to better communicate with them to get your message across. Do not just copy materials from the handouts.
