Incorporate that into a broader discussion of the information contained in the entire course. Identify persistent trends or themes in US history. In that context place the implications of the level of historical knowledge among graduating College seniors on future US leadership decision making. Use all the supplemental items in each chapter of the course to fill out the discussion.
