In this course we primarily focus on and construct our selected project using what's known as traditional, waterfall, or predictive project management. Another methodology that is growing in utilization especially in technology sectors is the Agile or iterative method. Depending on the project one or the other may be more effective. I really enjoyed the discussion at the start of Chapter 8 when project management expert, Carol Abbot discusses how some projects were easier to schedule and manage with an Agile method and others were far more difficult.
In our textbook, most of the chapters have some discussion on the differences between Waterfall/Traditional Project Management and Agile Project Management. Utilizing the textbook, the attached document and at least one other credible resource I would like to do discuss the following topics:
Similarities and differences between traditional and Agile project management methodology
Advantages and Disadvantages of each method
At least two areas/projects where you feel each of the methodologies would be most appropriate
