In this exercise, you will analyze public support for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The FBI enforces federal criminal laws in much the same way as police departments enforce state criminal laws. Who has more positive feelings about the FBI: liberals or conservatives? Conventional wisdom suggests that conservatives, who tend to support "law and order" policies, would have more support for the FBI.The NES Dataset includes the variable ft_fbi, which measures how people feel about the FBI on a 0-100 scale (with 100 being the warmest, most positive feeling).
