$2.$ Apply AHP to prioritize alternatives based on multiple criteria.

$3.$ Interpret and analyze the results obtained from the AHP analysis.

$3.$ The Problem to be solved

Assume Mr Muhammad wants to buy a smartphone. He is considering three phones iPhone $8($here after referred to as I$7),$ Samsung Galaxy S$8($S$8),$ and Huawei P$11($P$11).$ The important factors being considered by him include Style, Price and Features. The pairwise comparison of the three phones on Price by Mr Muhammad is given below:

$$ S$8$ is preferable over I$8$ by a rating of $3$

$$ P$11$ is preferred over I$8$ by a rating of $5$

$$ P$11$ is preferred over S$8$ by a rating of $4$

The comparison of three choices for Style is as follows:

$$ I$8$ is preferable over S$8$ by a rating of $4$

$$ I$8$ is preferred over P$11$ by a rating of $6$

$$ S$8$ is preferred over P$11$ by a rating of $2$

The comparison of three choices for Features is as follows:

$$ S$8$ is preferable over I$8$ by a rating of $5$

$$ P$11$ is preferred over I$8$ by a rating of $4$

$$ P$11$ is preferred over S$8$ by a rating of $3$

The relative importance of criteria is as follows:

$$ Style is more important than Price by $7$

$$ Features are more important than Price by $8$

$$ Features are more important than Style by $3$
