In Unit $3$ we have been learning about MIPS, which is a$$type of microprocessor architecture that uses a reduced instruction set computing $($RISC$)$ approach.$$MIPS focuses on simplicity and speed, and is still used in embedded systems and some high$-$performance computing applications.

MIPS is just one example of an Instruction Set Architecture $($ISA$),$ and different ISAs can have a significant impact on CPU design and performance.

For this discussion, choose an ISA other than MIPS $($e$.$g$.,$ x$86,$ ARM, RISC$-$V$,$ etc.$)$ and briefly describe one unique feature of that ISA. How does this feature influence programming or hardware design? Be specific and think about how this compares to what you've learned about MIPS.
