In week 1

During this course, you will work on and develop a full, detailed project schedule and present it in the final Week 8 live class session. For your project, choose from the list of projects below or come up with your own project with the approval of the instructor. Feel free to be creative, but focus the project on one key area rather than attempt to take on an enormous project. Based on your project selection, write a brief project description and scope statement. This will serve as the foundation for your project schedule and help to determine the schedule priorities. Also, include a list of key project team members (job titles of those who will be working on the project) and their roles, as this will be needed for project resource management and scheduling. Identify stakeholders (by title), and the anticipated Start and End dates for the project.

In Week 2

Using the project you selected in Week 1, determine appropriate milestones. Describe how each milestone leads to the overall successful completion of the project meeting scope, time, and cost objectives. Create a preliminary set of tasks that need to be completed in order to achieve each of the determined milestones. Submit the list of potential milestones, tasks, and the descriptions for the project in Word document format to the Week 2 Assignment drobox. There should be a minimum of 5 milestones.

3. Developing phase and completion

4. Testing phase and completion
