In your opinion which evaluation method would you like to use as a contracting officer? I enjoy using the tradeoff method because although it is not the best method in terms of price, it may save the government money overtime. I would much rather use a company with a successful past performance record that has a higher price compared to a company with an unsuccessful record that has the lowest price. In these scenarios, I have to take the taxpayer into consideration and determine what the best use of their money is and sometimes, I do not feel that the lowest price is the best way to go
