I think it is very much the responsibility of businesses to focus and incorporate the Triple Bottom Line in their business models because it is businesses around the world that are responsible for saving or destroying our planet for future generations. I know that there are multitudes of businesses that are poisoning the planet and they need to take responsibility for what they are doing and work to reverse it as much as possible or the wealth they accumulate won't mean anything for any future generations when there is no longer a survivable planet to live on.

I think the TBL has tremendous value for business because 1) it will help to make them more sustainable, 2) it will improve the company's image with the public which will in turn make customers more inclined to do business with them, and 3) it will take major leaps in the fight to protect and revitalize our world.
