Your group will be assigned to a particular continent. Based on that allocation select a country of your choice, an industry from that country, a company in that industry.

The group project should include the following topics:

• How did a particular company in an industry in your selected country achieve international success? Your group will be selecting the industry based on secondary research. Use the National Competitive Advantage: Porters Diamond Model to illustrate your answer. [10]
• What methods does the countrys government use to intervene international trade? Search in the web, give me names of the method with appropriate examples. [5]
• What is the status of regional economic integration for that country? Name the agreements of which this country is a member state. What are the implications of this regional economic integration(s) for your selected country and company? (How is your chosen company and the country benefitted/challenged because of the integration?) [5]
