Include all reference materials used. Step $1$: Research various organizations and choose one that has at least $5$ core values that resonate with you. If you have a personal connection to the values of the organization, it will be easier for you to prepare a core values$-$ based selection process. This is not included with your assignment. This is for research purposes only.

Step $2$: Create your assignment in one document containing two parts:

Part a: Prepare a document that would be provided to each candidate chosen for an interview outlining a core values $-$based interview process, including the following:

$1.$ A description of the process, including the purpose of the core values$-$ based exercise and why it$$s important to the organization to understand what candidates core values are $($addressing this to the candidate may be helpful in formulating your process$).$

$2.$ A methodology that will allow candidates to go through the process of defining their personal core values.

$3.$ A form that will be submitted by each candidate $($in advance of the interview$)$ that clearly defines their top five core values.

Part b: Create interview questions:

$1.$ Based on part A$,$ design $10$ interview questions that would help members of a selection panel determine how well$-$aligned the candidates core values are with the organizational culture.

$2.$ The questions should be framed such that members of the panel can probe to determine if in fact your core values are authentic, or if the candidate is listing core values, they think the organization would be looking for.
