Include an explanation of the process for selecting technologies needed to support the enterprise modernization. This will include the tools and services for the modernization project itself (if applicable) and the technology to be used for operating the modernized systems. You should incorporate feedback from your instructor as you develop the Technology Selection section of your final Proposal. Feedback from classmates should be considered and incorporated as appropriate.

To prepare for this discussion, review the feedback you have received on the modernization scenario. The Module 6 content provides ideas about how to approach the technology selection process. If you know how such decisions are made in the organization you have selected, you should incorporate that into your discussion post and your final proposal.

The essay to include the following:

• Briefly state the organization and your modernization scenario as a reminder.
• Explain the process to be used to select the technologies needed to support the enterprise modernization, and identify who will make the final decisions on technology.
• Describe the tools and services needed to:
  • Perform the modernization (tools and/or services for analysis, refactoring, data migration, etc.), if applicable
  • Operate the modernized systems (cloud services, outsourcing, contractor support, etc.)

You are not expected to name specific tools or software, hardware, etc. Instead, identify what will be needed and how it will be chosen.
