I work as a nanny for a 16-month-old and her 5-year-old brother when he gets home from school 'Most days he wants a peanut butter and jelly sandwich after school and other days he wants cereal. I try to have his after-school snack ready for him before he gets home. For the last two weeks. he has wanted a peanut butter and jelly sandwich 4 of the days and cereal 2 of the days. I watch them for 3 days a week. So. 4l6 days he wants pbaj and 2!6 days he wants cereal. So 2/3 pb&j and 113 cereal. There is a 66.6% chance he will want a peanut butter and jelly sandwich when he gets home and a 33.3% chance he will want cereal. This is experimental probability because it is based on my observations. (That being said. you can almost never make predictions for kids!) [54 words
