• Independent data analysis project: You will gather data on something that interests you and demonstrate analytical skills you have learned during the course. Depending on the nature of your data, you may need to begin data gathering activities fairly early in the term. Past students have observed and measured people, animals, birds or vehicles, grocery expenditures, personal behaviours (screen time, exercise, walking or driving), pet behaviours, and personal items. Performance measures provided by games is an especially easy and ethical form of data to obtain. Do not gather personal data from other people. Use public observations or personal measurements. The project should be submitted as a written report or slide presentation.
