Independent Project Proposals Please complete the assignment as described below. Upload your project proposal to D2L. Your proposal is due before we being Unit 6. Please feel free to ask any questions! Building on our lightning talks, we would like each of you to formalize your project pitches into a project proposal. We would like each of you to write a project proposal that: Describes what topic in Bioinformatics you would like to research and present. Includes background and context on what questions are important in this topic. Describes what data or analytic tools are used for the topic you chose. Includes an estimated timeline by week with specific goals needed to complete the project on this timeline, keeping in mind the schedule for the class this semester. Include a set of \"checkpoint\" goals that you aim to have completed by Week 14 when we will upload your lectures and accompanied homework assignments. Provide an outline of your project lecture topic that you will deliver in Weeks 14-16. This is an opportunity to teach your classmates about biology, algorithms, and/or data in a 20-minute mini-lecture. Provide an outline of what your homework assignment will be and what ideas from your lecture it will reinforce or demonstrate to your classmates. You should feel free to meet with the instructors to identify potential data sets, guestions, algorithms, etc that you may use in your project. The project proposal should be a maximum of 5 pages and provide sufficient detail that you can use as a guide for completing your project
