At a recent training workshop for directors, Mr Knowledge who is a well-known investor in the country expressed grave concern that directors in the country had "lost focus" . In support of his position, Mr knowledge cited the case of a CEO of one local bank who was reported to be earning the highest salary in the south east Asian region and staying in a huge bungalow at the bank's cost. Mr knowledge asked what value such expenditure brings to the shareholders of the bank.
