For this report, you$$ll be using the same scenario and data that were used in the Visual Aid Assignment. You$$ll be able to use what you did with that previous assignments to help create this report. Additionally, you$$ll expand beyond those visuals to include text in your report too.

Here is your scenario:

I am the Business Manager of a small chain of sports bars $/$ restaurants called $$The Penalty Box$,$ which serves drinks and pub food to patrons while targeting a crowd that enjoys watching sports in a communal public setting. You are the manager of a new branch of the restaurant that will be opened in the near future.

Since the new property we have acquired is in a well$-$populated area, it will be in direct competition with another existing sport bar located nearby. The two establishments are likely to be competing for similar clientele, and while we feel that the area can support both restaurants, we would certainly like to be the more successful, popular, and profitable of the two.

I have asked you to conduct some primary research on the existing establishment to provide me with some useful information to help us compete. You will gather $($or create$)$ information that you believe can be helpful to me as I make decisions about our menu, pricing, promotions, etc. at the new location. For example, what items are popular at the competing restaurant? Which food and drink items are available there, and which are not? What sort of pricing levels does that restaurant use? How many people can they accommodate? How busy are they? Do they have specific times that are particularly busy and$/$or slow? How many employees do they have? Is the business profitable, stagnating, or struggling? Any information in these types of areas will help me to understand the market we$$re moving into and the opportunities and challenges it presents.
