SITUA'I10N: The newly elected president of the Philippines, Mr. Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., has instructed all agency heads to submit pertinent reports that will be used as bases for developing the strategic plans for the country for the next six years. So, the national director of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) has release a memorandum directing all regional directors to submit a report containing the expected population of the region for the next six years, resources that each region is rich with, information related to employment and areas needing improvement. This report will be submitted to the PSA national director's oice for consolidation to form the report that will be forwarded to the president. GOAL: As a regional director, you know that an accurate set of data plays a vital role in planning and decision- making. Therefore, you have decided to consider the population of the region 1 from the past six years. You want to ensure that for the next six years, the statistics of the region will be improved. leading to the sustainability of the region.
