The focus of the Cultural Experience Film group PowerPoint assignment is to provide a deeper understanding of the Indigenous culture through the lens of Indigenous artists, storytellers and directors.

Guidelines

• Give a synopsis of the details of the film: who, where, when, what, why, and how?
• Provide the historical context of the film.
• Draw and make connections with course material and other scholarly sources (not Wikipedia!)
• Students will discuss their personal insights and experiences in relation to the film.
• in-text citations as needed.
• Authenticity is important! Storytelling is part of Indigenous ways of knowing.
