Context and Question Sustainable procurement can be a solution to integrate economic, environmental and social considerations in all steps of the procurement process in order to reduce impacts on human health, the environment, and human rights. However, this requires a new way of thinking about sustainability within and between supply chains. Despite the existence of important works in this area, more studies for determining how the principles related to sustainable development can be integrated into procurement strategies are needed. Use a typical organisation of your choice within Zambia to evaluate the main aspects of sustainability that should be considered in the procurement of works, goods and services. Establish the main sustainability aspects that must be considered on each type of procurement and define the typical criteria to be applied. (50 Marks)
