Instructions for the DQR 200 Comprehensive Research Project:

1. Create randomly simulated data using the instructions found in the first sheet of the Excel file. For this method use the file labeled "Research Project SIMULATED DATA". Week 1

2. Import and organize your data set onto Sheet 1. Week 1

3. Create the appropriate graphs for your qualitative variables on Sheet 2. Week 2

4. Find the appropriate indicators for your quantitative variables by completing the table on Sheet 3. Week 2

5. Create a 5-Number Summary and Box-and-Whisker Plots for your quantitative variables on Sheet 4. Week 2

6. Create a scatter plot for your continuous quantitative variables on Sheet 5. Week 3

7. Create appropriate Two-Way Tables for your qualitative variables on Sheet 6. Create three conditional probability statements based on your Two-Way Tables. Week 3

8. Write a one-page summary of your research project; does not need to be APA or any specific format. Week 4. This may include: a. hypothesis for which you made your survey. b. results you expected compared to the results you found. c. Interesting aspects of the graphs on Sheet 2. d. Interesting indicators that appeared on Sheet 3. e. Interesting aspects of the Box-and-Whisker Plots on Sheet 4. f. Interesting aspects of the scatter plot on Sheet 5 and explanations of correlation if any exists. g. Interesting aspects of the Two-Way Table on Sheet 6. h. Concluding thoughts on your findings and suggestions for further research. i. Explanations of the processes completed throughout this project.
