In two to three paragraphs, answer the following question:

You are the lead lawyer on an in-house mergers and acquisitions team working on the biggest deal of your legal career in the last five years. You are in foreign country buying a manufacturing company and the deal is almost done after 18 months of negotiations. Everyone is tired, but overjoyed at the prospect of it being done! It was a difficult deal considering the language barrier that required the use of interpreters to make the deal happen.

Your foreign partners have taken you and your team out for a feast to celebrate before you all sign final documents tomorrow. They arrange for a limo to pick you up at your hotel and bring you to a banquet hall. The feast looks amazing! The variety of food is delectable, but also unique. There are food items that you cannot identify. As a Vegan, and an admittedly picky eater, you are starting to get a little nervous.

Your hosts enthusiastically encourage you to try everything! They have put a lot of thought and planning into this evening to show their gratitude and excitement about this deal. They have chosen delicacies that are reserved only for the most special of occasions. You do not even know what they are. It is hard for you to try them considering your dietary limitations. You are feeling more and more pressure as all eyes are on you to try various items being placed on your plate in celebration, but you feel hesitant. The only thing you can see that feels 'comfortable' to eat is rice.

What do you do? You do not want to be rude to your hosts, especially considering that you still need to sign final documents.
